Monocultivar of Carolea, centuries-old cultivar originally from Calabria and adopted throughout the south of Italy. Plant of notable upward and widened habit which makes the plant majestic. The drupe is medium large, very pulpy, beautiful to look at. Called in the Canosine dialect name La Berafàtt (the beautiful woman) because of its beauty. A very delicate extra virgin, light-medium fruity with hints of white fruit, green apple and tomato leaf, with a sweet and aromatic taste with hints of aromatic herbs, bitter and spicy present but very contained.
